My Mission Waco story started 9 years ago in Kindergarten. I met Francisco, Zae, Kevin, Mckenzie and, Shay. Mckenzie and Shay, who are Mission Waco staff members, were the best things that happened to me. All through the years we bonded and the bond gets stronger and stronger each year. They would always go out of their way to help my family and me when we needed it. We would sit down and do homework together. As I got older we would go to the office and write my essays together. We would go on outings and just have fun.
My friends through Mission Waco are Kevin, Francisco and, Zae. I have a separate bond with all of them, and we all have bonded like brothers. We’ve been through so much stuff together that makes our bond even stronger. We’ve traveled across Texas and the United States together. They mean the world to me, and I hope we can keep this bond. I am thankful that MW provides a place like this for me to make these bonds.
The last part of my Mission Waco story is where we explore the United States together as a family. I always learn something new on the trips. In Galveston, we learned about giving something even though you may not get anything back in return. While camping with Matt Wible I learned that you have the life of happiness on your fingertips, and some key ways to survive on your own in the wild. We just came from San Diego where we learned about entrepreneurship. We toured Moniker Group and all its properties.
Overall I’m very thankful for my experience with Mission Waco in the last 9 years. I am thankful for the relationships I have formed and the unexpected adventures I’ve been on.
